Thank goodness for small farmers like Jonathon and Molly at Odd Bird Farm in DaKalb, MO. If it wasn't for folks like them, the Meishan pigs could very well go extinct in the near future. HOWEVER....they, and others are working hard to preserve this rare breed of pig for future generations.
These little piglets were in a hut when I photographed them. They were curious, but stayed close to mom who was napping. Baby pigs are so CUTE!
